The excitement and heartfelt gratitude for finally being able to get married is what stood out to me the most from Miren & Michelle’s wedding. Unlike the typical Hindu wedding celebration, Miren and Michelle were on a mission to do theirs in one day. It was a long day packed with such a broad range of emotions, from stillness and anticipation to uncontrollable excitement and tears.
He was all dressed and ready to go - clothes freshly ironed, tie expertly done by his brother, shoes all shined up. Ben couldn’t remember the last time he was dressed so sharp. He stood nervously, playing with his cufflinks as we waited for Sarah, his bride. He occasionally glanced over at people nearby milling about.
Suddenly, a gentle pressure moved along both sides of his waist, and just as he looked down to see a pair of hands equipped with French manicures, he felt a gentle breeze rub his ear wrapped in Sarah’s voice.
“Hey”, she whispered gently.
Ben turned around, and a rush of gratitude and amazement filled his gut almost instantly. His eyes did a quick scan of Sarah in her wedding gown and they finally stopped at her green eyes. This was the best day of his life so far…
The epic finale to Chris and Katya's engagement - a gathering of just over 100 people hailing from literally all around the globe! Our couple is committed to their friends and family. They are also genuine, as witnessed in their raw and quirky wedding vows. It's always good times hanging with these two!
I arrived at the hotel. I checked my notes on my phone for the room number and made my way up. I entered a small suite with 2 queen sized beds laden with various bags, articles of clothes and different pieces of packaging. Honestly, it wasn’t too bad. It only got bad when I realized I was sitting around making small talk with the bride’s sister and her kids for about 15mins.
Imagine walking around the same campus with your future spouse and never meeting them until after graduating. This is Matt & Alison’s case; they even shared common friends and hangout spots! I’m glad they found each other because they definitely go so well together… and they’re hilarious! Here is their story!
The theme of this wedding is saturated with the thought of being "lucky" or "fortunate" (afortunado in Spanish), from Carlos' parents expressing their gratitude for their son all the way to how these two individuals with culinary giftedness find and love each other. Their family recounts their journey with light-hearted and touching testimonies.
