The excitement and heartfelt gratitude for finally being able to get married is what stood out to me the most from Miren & Michelle’s wedding. Unlike the typical Hindu wedding celebration, Miren and Michelle were on a mission to do theirs in one day. It was a long day packed with such a broad range of emotions, from stillness and anticipation to uncontrollable excitement and tears.
I first heard about Aperture Lane long before we were even engaged and I always followed along. Fast forward to January 2017 when we got engaged, I knew from the very beginning that I wanted Aperture Lane to capture our day. I quickly shared this with my now husband, Miren and he agreed that we had to get Ryan and his team. We met Ryan before all our other vendors, before we even had a venue booked and even before we had an actual wedding date set in stone! That’s how certain we were. He took the time to meet with us multiple times prior to the big day and was in constant communication with us to come up with a plan for the day. Not only did he outline where he needed to be, but also made meaningful suggestions that helped our day go as smoothly as possible. This was just one of the many ways he went beyond just being a videographer.
